June 17: We are done with the car rally postings for a while. I will follow-up with more pictures of that adventure in the near future (there is a lot more to tell!), but right now we are planning our trip to Paris. We leave Thursday and arrive Paris on Friday am. We have rented an apartment in the 7th arrondissement not too far from our last apartment on Quai Branly.
We will be in Paris for a month. The first week will be consumedby a writer’s workshop during which time we will be working on our second novel, Night Watch. Like The Long Road to Paris, this one will be half suspense and half love story. The setting is a sailboat in the Bahamas. We are not sure if our heroes from The Long Road will turn up or not, seems they want to have at least a cameo appearance. They just won’t leave us alone.
The last three weeks we will play-and write. Hopefully we will visit some of the friends we made on the Trans-American Challenge this past month. That is a big part of taking on new adventures, the people you meet and the friendships you keep.
I don’t know what adventures we will write about on this blog, but I am sure there will be lots to say and photos to post.
Stay tuned for the adventures in Paris,
